The M.V.M.
Board met together in the Fall of 2006 to discuss plans of a campus
expansion scheduled to begin in 2007! The plans include a new
Christian camping and retreat center!
Details from
the MVM Board:
We, as the
MVM Board along with Sally and Tacho, once again have a special
opportunity that we would like to tell you about.
Besides housing students;
the MVM also serves as a retreat center for local
churches. Therefore, we have laid the foundations for four large
dormitories which would accommodate a total of 40 campers with the
possibility of expanding the project to include more dormitory space and
bathrooms in the future. A generous giver has volunteered to match
what we are able to raise."
Please
prayfully consider donating towards this growth project. We would
be able to secure the matching funds and apply them toward the $15,000
total cost for the four dormitories.
Financial
support sent to Ruby Heiden by December 18, 2006 can can get the
matching amount by the end of the year. Checks should be made out
to Mazahua Valley Ministries.
If you are
going to give to the dormitories, please do not divert from your pledges
to your home church. We are asking that this be a separate giving
for you if you are able. Our home churches rely on our
regularly pledged donations for their programs, and we feel strongly
about this.
